January 16, 2024 by Alex Greenzweig News

The 2024 Oreville Kart Club Schedule is officially released, and this season packs 25 events consisting of a practice day, a new driver training day, 22-point paying events, and a variety of money races and memorial race events. The 1/4 mile Asphalt Road Course and 1/6th mile Asphalt Oval will see JuiceBox division, All Jr. & Sr. Flat Karts, All Jr. & Sr. Champs, and Jr. & Sr. Microstocks be on the weekly docket for 2024. Additionally, some special races that are not on the schedule that Oreville staff is working on could be added. Let’s take a brief look at the 2024 season schedule and what it has in store:

On Sunday, April 7, we will begin the year with Practice and Cleanup. Opening Day will be set for Sunday, April 14, kicking off the 2024 Championship Points. Numerous money races and a memorial race are spread throughout the year, and this season, we will see some new events. The first returning event is the Doug Gaumer Memorial, presented & put together by Heiser Racing and the Gaumer family for Microstocks, which boasted 23 cars in the Inaugural Race. The Sr. Flathead Oval and Sr. Animal Champ classes will have a doubleheader money race on July 21, competing for $ 500 to win each! New this year will be a $500 to win Sr. 206 Medium Road Course Money Race on Sunday, June 2, making it the first large-paying event on the road course! In addition to the numerous money races and memorial events, we have Pocono Raceway Day on May 19 with the Pace Car and Giveaways, Checkered Flag Fan Club Day on June 2, and The Club Picnic with Features only on August 4. The features will be 20 Laps for modern road course classes, 15-Lap for Vintage Classes, and 25-Laps for Oval Classes. We will have the East Coast Vintage Kart Nationals on September 13th & 14th as a part of the EVK series. Our final event of the season will be the Monster Mash on October 6, featuring Trick or Treating, a Trailer Decorating Contest, and a Last Chance 2024 Non-Winners Race(s).

With only a few months away from kicking off the 2024 season, it will be a busy season for Oreville, and we can’t wait to be back on the track pounding the pavement.
